On Opening Day of his first full season in 1989, Roberto Alomar was the youngest player on any National League roster. Alomar solidified his superstar credentials in his next two seasons, leading the Blue Jays to back-to-back World Series victories. This jersey was worn during a game against Seattle which was played on June 6, 2003. On the inside left front tail is the "Majestic" label. The tags below this have been cut out. In a letter from Alomar, which accompanies this shirt, he explains how he had the jersey customized for his comfort. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Mets" in script-style letters and on the back is the name "Alomar." The player number "12" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of blue ribbed tackle twill on an orange/black tackle twill backing. On the left sleeve is the Mets "Skyline" patch. There is an autograph on the back number "1" which rates an eight. Next to this is an inscription reading "6-6 vs Seattle w 3-2." Thr autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. The jersey shows game use and with the exception of the custom changes, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
