Spirited, speedy Jason Kendall emerged in the late 1990s as one of the game's top catchers. This jersey is from the latter part of the 2001 season. On the inside left front tail is the "Rawlings" label and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 2001." Below this is the size tag "48." Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Pirates" and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Kendall." The player number "18" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of green on gold tackle twill. On the upper left is the Willie Stargell memorial patch and on the back is the 9/11/01 American flag patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
