Dwight Evans had already become a regular in the Boston outfield when he was joined by sensational rookies Jim Rice and Fred Lynn in 1975. Evans made his reputation as a strong-armed outfielder who froze baserunners in their tracks. In the neck of this road knit jersey is the "McAuliffe" label and below this is the size tag "44." On the left front tail is the year tag "1975" and below this is the wash tag. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Boston" and on the back is the player number "24." Both the name and number are made of red on blue tackle twill. The jersey shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
