Dykstra rose through the Mets' farm system to become their part-time leadoff hitter and centerfielder in 1985, and in 1986 he won the larger part of the role, thanks to steady fielding, good speed and flashy, fan-pleasing catches. Offered is a 1986 Lenny Dykstra World Series game bat. There are only two bats made for each player during the World Series, which makes WS bats tough to acquire. This unused and autographed Lenny Dykstra game bat measures 34 inches and weighs 33 ounces. Blue bat rack marks are evident on the front barrel. There is an autograph in black ink that reads, "Best Wishes, Lenny Dykstra # 4." The autograph grades a 9. Manufacturer: Rawlings, Model #: LD4, Labeling Period: 1986 WS, Length: 34 in, Weight: 33 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Flame Burned. The bat and autograph each come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
