To oversee play in the World Series is the goal of every Major League Umpire. The offered baseballs have been signed by the arbiters from the 1942 and '43 Series. The 1942 ball boasts six signatures that include Hall of Famer Cal Hubbard joined by G.L. Magerkirth, Tom Dunn, Geo Barr, Steve Basil, and Bill Summers. The 1943 ball has also been signed by six, featuring Hall of Famer Jocko Conlan, Bill Stewart, Joe Rice, Beans Reardon, George Pipgras (added 1943 World Series), and Eddie Rommel. All of the autographs are done in ink and rate from 7 to 9. The balls are both ONL Ford Frick and each shows a light even tone. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
