The roster for the 1946 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals, who beat the Red Sox 4-3 in that year's World Series after edging out the Brooklyn Dodgers by only two games for the pennant, boasted four future Hall of Famers, including Stan Musial and Joe Garagiola. This lightly toned ONL Ford C. Frick baseball is signed by 24 members of that championship team. Signatures include the manager Dyer; Schmidt, Rice, Musial and Gonzales on one panel; Barrett, Moore, Brecheen, Beazley, Walker, Adams and Grodzicki on a second; Brazle, Munger, Schoendienst, Krist, Dusek, Slaughter and Pollet on a third; Wares, Garagiola, Burkhart and Sisler on a fourth; and Marion on the sweet spot. All signed in blue ink, the signatures on this ball rate an average of 8 and come with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
