The 1962 Yankees built on the success of the storied '61 team, earning their second consecutive world championship with a 4-1 Series win over the San Francisco Giants. This Louisville Slugger black bat was presented personally to Elston Howard after the Yankees won that title and commemorates the achievement with the engraving "New York Yankees World Champions 1962" and engraved signatures or block lettering of the Yankees' roster, all of which has been done in gold. A white sticker with "105" is attached to the knob. The bat exhibits some scratches from being housed in a bat rack in Howard's home over the years and grades in excellent condition overall. It comes with a letter of authenticity from Howard's wife Arlene.
