Thurman Munson was a perennial All-Star, making the team in 1971 and 1973 through '78. His batting average and near-perfect defense helped him to the AL MVP crown in 1976. Offered is an uncracked Thurman Munson Bicentennial game bat (not game-used). There is blue and red bat rack marks on the handle and barrel. The barrel stampings are vivid and bold. Any Munson game bat is highly desirable, but a 1976 Bicentennial is in even more demand among serious bat collectors. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model #: M169, Labeling Period: 1976, Length: 35-1/2 in, Weight: 33 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Flame Burned. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
