The New York Yankees finished atop the American League in 1963, meeting the Dodgers in that year's World Series. The club is represented nicely in this 8.5" x 13" original team photograph, which has its origins in the estate of one of those pictured. With the exception of a very few surface creases scattered around the perimeter of the image, there is no wear to speak of and the picture exhibits a clarity that only a first generation vintage print can have. It has been double matted and framed in cherry wood with a mint full ticket to game 6 of the 1963 World Series. Measures approx. 19" x 20" overall.
