Leroy Neiman is without question one of the best sports artists of his generation and Walter Payton was certainly one of the top football players, so the combination of the two on this Wheaties box is only natural. Payton is imaged palming the football in his right hand and looking to lower his shoulder into a defender. The box is triple-matted and framed and signed in blue sharpie by both Payton, who added his number "34", and Neiman with the signatures grading a 9. Neiman is shown on the back of the box putting the finishing touches on a Johnny Unitas, Joe Greene and Roger Staubach painting. The box has an unobtrusive crease down the center, but is otherwise NM-MT, and the framing measures 20" x 30". The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
