Mark "Baby Bull" Keller was one of the Nation's top college football players in the early 1970s. In 1974 he was signed by the Chicago Fire of the WFL. On Sunday July 28, 1974 The Fire played in Hawaii before a sold out crowd. It was in this game that Kellar put on a record setting performance scoring five touchdowns. Following the game he presented the game jersey and a touchdown ball to a close friend who has relationships with many of the teams players. Offered here is that jersey and football accompanied by documentation tracing its history. On the inside right tail is the "Wilson" label with the size "46." The player number "31" appears on the front, back, and sleeves of the jersey. On the back is a white nameplate with the player name "Keller." All of the letters and numbers are done in red and black iron on lettering. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The ball was made by Spalding and has the "World Football League" logo on a side panel along the league Presidents signature. It shows evidence of game use.
