In his first NFL season, Lott led a young secondary that helped the 49ers to win Super Bowl XVI. He became the second rookie in NFL history to return three interceptions for touchdowns which resulted in naming him Rookie of the Year. Known for his hard-hitting style, the versatile defensive back earned 10 Pro Bowl invitations at three different positions: cornerback, free safety and strong safety. At the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch and on the upper left front is the "Jets 25th Anniversary Super Bowl Champions" patch. On the left front tail is the "Champion" exclusive label with the year "1993." Next to this is the "Champion" label with the size "50." On the inside lower left is the "2" Extra Body Length" label. On the back of the jersey is a green mesh nameplate with the name "Lott." The player number "42" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey. The letters and numbers are white on black and have been ironed-on. There is an autograph on the upper right front which rates a seven. The sleeves have been custom-cut. There is a repair mark on the back number "2" and on the front near the autograph. The numbers and letters have scuff marks and show very good wear. The jersey shows good game-use and with the exception of the above-mentioned changes, appears to have no other alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
