A great piece of vintage AFL memorabilia, this MacGregor helmet was game-worn by a member of the New York Titans in the early 1960's. The offered item is a size 6-7/8 to 7 and shows tremendous game use from what appears to be more than a season's worth of knocking heads on the gridiron. You can truly get a feel for the olden days of football by handling this helmet and comparing it to the much heavier and more padded ones used by the players today. The helmet does not include the chin strap and comes with a LOA from Lou Lampson.
