When you are drafted by a team that already has a Pro-Bowler firmly entrenched at your position, the prospects of seeing any real playing time must seem daunting. Coaches drill their reserves about the importance of being prepared to go at a moments notice. Apparently all this was not lost on Tom Brady, whose storybook 2001 season ended when he led the New England Patriots to an upset victory over the St. Louis Rams in the Super Bowl. This Riddell helmet was worn by Brady in his rookie year of 2000 and shows moderate game use. The Patriots logo appears on either side of the helmet, which features Brady's #12 on the back to the right of the NFL logo and the original "00" clips. "Brady 12" and "12" are written in black marker inside the helmet. The helmet comes with a LOA from Lou Lampson.
