In a cruel twist of fate, International Motorsports Hall-of-Famer DeWayne "Tiny" Lund was killed at the Talladega 500 in 1975, just 12 years after rescuing fellow driver Marvin Panch from a burning car during practice prior to his Daytona 500 victory. Before his premature demise, Lund won five Nascar Winston Cup races during a splendid 21-year career. Featured here is a driver's suit that Lund wore during Winston Cup and Busch Series races during the 1970s. Lund's name is stitched in blue on the right breast above a Guardian Filters patch. Red, yellow and blue stripes run from the left shoulder to the waist and are separated by a Good Year patch, which is present in larger fashion on the reverse. The suit exhibits a Hinchman Indianapolis tag in the collar and grades near-mint with nice usage. It comes with a LOA flawlessly signed and dated by fellow racing legend Donnie Allison
