Dubbed the "House That Ruth Built", Yankee Stadium was opened before a capacity crowd of more than 65,000 on April 18, 1923. Always at his best when the eyes of the world were upon him, Babe Ruth sent the fans home happy thanks to his game-winning home run. Wooden seats such as this one were present in the Stadium until its renovation in 1973. This functioning, end aisle seat has number 44 present on the backing and grades VG. No true Yankees fan should be without a fantastic, vintage item such as this one.
