The M&M boys, Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, were the heart of the dominant New York Yankees lineup in the early 1960's. In fact, the powerful duo combined to win the first three MVP Awards of the decade, with Maris garnering the first two. The three and four hitters for the Bronx Bombers handled their business so well on the field, it was a natural progression for them to field a business. Thus, Mantle-Maris Enterprises, Inc. was born. The first of the two signed items in this lot is a three-page Mantle-Maris Enterprises, Inc. document signed by Mantle. Also included is a one-page Pearson Advertising Agency, Inc. contract signed by Maris. Both contracts are EX-MT and the signatures rate a 9. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
