Babe Ruth may have passed away some 54 years ago, but the interest in and love for the "Bambino" and all things related to him is still as strong as ever. Ruth autographed items are right at the top of list for serious collectors, especially those that are accompanied by credible provenance. This United States savings bonds booklet was signed at the top right corner on the reverse. The signature, in black fountain pen, grades a beautiful 9 with no breaks, smears or discoloration. The booklet is empty and appears that have been carefully removed from a scrap book due the glue remnants on the opposite side of the Ruth signature. It is accompanied by two alike black and white 8" x 10" photos of Ruth completing the transaction to buy $100,000 in savings bonds and a negative of the photo as well. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
