Jimmy Foxx has added his name to this cream colored OAL Harridge baseball in flowing blue ink, and the signature rates at least an 8. The signature appears on a side panel and appears to be a fine example of a Foxx single. However, he is joined on the ball by three fellow Hall of Famers, Lefty Grove, Joe Cronin, and Rick Ferrell, and Ferrel's brother Wes. The other signatures rate between 5 and 7 and are not visible when displaying the Foxx. With the price of a Foxx single of this quality being in the twenty thousand dollar range, this ball offers a significant alternative and will be at home in the finest of single-signed baseball collections.
