Batting .400 over a full Major League season is a tremendous accomplishment. The fact that the magical .400 mark has not been reached for 61 years is a testament to that. To have turned the trick not once but twice is truly awe-inspiring. If hitting .407 in 1920 was not gaudy enough, St. Louis Browns Hall-of-Famer George Sisler roared to an amazing .420 batting average in 1922. This OAL Harridge baseball is signed and dated "1958" in blue ink by Sisler, whose career .340 batting average ranks 16th of all time. The sweet spot signature grades a 9 and the ball is near-mint. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
