Between 1929 and 1931, George Earnshaw teamed up with Lefty Grove as the aces of the Philadelphia Athletics pitching staff. Earnshaw won 67 games in those three seasons, leading the league with 24 in 1929. "Moose" had a slick curveball and a devastating fastball in his arsenal. He once said, "I didn't fool around with those junk pitches." He played a total of nine Major League seasons ending his career with 127 wins and 93 loses, having won 20 or more games 3 times. This red and blue stitch "American League" baseball has been signed on the sweetspot by Earnshaw in blue ink. The signature rates a strong 8 and the ball shows a nice even tone with one panel being slightly darker than the rest. The autograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
