Known as the "Big Train", Walter Johnson was quite an imposing figure on the mound. In fact, Ty Cobb said the legendary Washington Senators pitcher had "the most powerful arm ever turned loose in a ballpark." High praise indeed. Johnson finished his 21-year career with a 417-279 mark that included 110 shutouts, a record that still stands and likely always will, and 3.509 strikeouts. This red-stiched Pennant baseball is signed in blue ink by Johnson on the sweet spot, with the signature grading a 7. The ball itself grades the same as the signature, which comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
