Albert's rise to stardom was downright impressive. He recorded one of the finest rookie seasons in major-league history by leading the Cardinals in batting (.329), hits (194), home runs (37), doubles (47), RBI (130) and runs scored (112). He won all the NL Rookie of the Year awards, including the coveted Players Choice Award from his peers. This autographed Pujols game-used bat shows evidence of game use and is uncracked. Several ball and ball stitch marks are visible on the barrel. His player number "5" is written in silver marker on the knob and barrel cupped end. The length and weight measurements are marked "4-2" in silver ink on the knob. The barrel is autographed in silver ink and grades a 9. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: C271, Labeling Period: 2001, Length: 34 in, Weight: 32 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Black. The bat and autograph each comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
