Mike Schmidt established himself as the best all-around third baseman of all time. He was the NL's premier power hitter in the 1970s and 1980s, failing to hit 30 homers only three times in his 16 full major-league seasons. He also won 11 Gold Gloves and was named to the same number of All-Star teams. This cracked and autographed Mike Schmidt game-used bat shows evidence of tremendous game use. The barrel is large with a medium handle and regular knob. The grain width is medium and the handle is cracked. There is a heavy coat of pine tar along the handle. The left barrel displays ball, ball stitch, black ball transfer, and red (shoe polish) cleat marks. Schmidt's player number "20" is written in black marker on the knob end. The front barrel has been autographed in black sharpie and grades an 8. Manufacturer: Rawlings, Model Number: 154A, Labeling Period: 1985, Length: 35 in, Weight: 32 oz, Wood: Ash, Finish: Flame-Burned. The bat and autograph each come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
