Although he may not have been the most graceful fielder Lou Piniella had a knack for always making the plays that needed to be made. In his 11 seasons with the New York Yankees Piniella became a fan favorite a helped the team to four World Series appearances. In the neck of the jersey is a white label reading "Piniella 83 1" in blue chain stitch. This denotes player, year, and set number respectively. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label with the size "44." On the left front breast is the Yankees "NY" logo. On the back of the jersey is the player number "14." The logo and numbers are made from blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
