Mel Stottlemyre is well-known to the younger generation as the New York Yankees pitching coach, but he had to distinguish himself on the playing field prior to attaining such a prominent position. That he did. The five-time all-star compiled a 2.97 ERA over 11 seasons in the Majors, all with the Yankees, and chalked up 164 victories. This circa 1966 New York Yankees warmup jacket was worn by Stottlemyre and exhibits his player number (30) written in black magic marker in the neck. On the inside lower left is the MacGregor label with the size (46). On the left breast is the "NY" logo in cream colored tackle twill. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is signed in silver sharpie above the Yankees logo with the signature grading a 7. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
