Dale Long's May 1956 streak of hitting a home run in eight consecutive games is a record that still stands, having been tied, but not surpassed, by Don Mattingly and Ken Griffey Jr. This uncracked Dale Long game-used bat shows evidence of outstanding game use. The barrel is large with a medium handle and flared knob. The grain width is narrow. The right barrel displays ball and ball stitch marks. The handle has blue bat rack marks and masking tape. The masking tape reads "New York, 1962 1st Base." Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: S216, Labeling Period: 1961-64, Length: 35 in, Weight: 33 oz, Wood: Ash. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
