Warren Cromartie came up to the Majors in 1974 and created quite a stir. He was called a member of "the best young outfield in baseball" by Hall of Famer Duke Snider. Unfortunately for Warren, it never panned out although he did manage to hit a career high .304 in 1981. Cromartie wore this jersey the following season when Montreal hosted the annual mid-summer All-Star game. In the collar is the "Rawlings" label with the size "42." On the inside left front tail is a white label reading "82 1 Cromartie" in red embroidered stitch. This denotes year, set number, and player respectively. On the left front breast is the Expos logo in red/white/blue tackle twill and below this is the team name "Expos." On the right front breast is the player number "49." On the back of the jersey is the player name "Cromartie" and below this is the number "49." All letters and numbers are made of blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "1982 All Star Game" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
