The leader of seven pennant winning Brooklyn Dodger teams, Pee Wee Reese became the premier shortstop of his era. This classic early 1950's Brooklyn Dodgers Flannel jersey was made for use by Reese but never saw any game time. In the collar of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label and next to this is the size tag "42." The rest of the usual tagging that would normally appear on the front left tail is not present as the shirt was never prepared for actual game use. It is considered to be an extra game jersey. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Dodgers" in script style lettering and on the back is Pee Wee's number "1." Reese has signed the jersey on the front in blue marker with the signature, rating a strong 8 to 9. The autograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
