Called up to the Phillies late in the 1940 season, Danny Litwhiler batted .345, hitting in 21 straight games. In 1942 he became the first major league outfielder to play at least 150 games in a season without making an error. In the neck of the jersey is the "MacGregor" label with the size, "44." Below this is a white felt patch reading "Litwhiler 28" which has been done in red chain stitch. The number denotes the player number. On the inside right front tail is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1950." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Cincinnati" in red felt. On the back of the shirt is the player number "28" which is made of red on blue felt. On the left front tail is an autograph which rates a solid 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
