The Norfolk Tides are the New York Mets Minor Affiliate. Most of the Mets biggest stars come through the team or spend some time there doing rehab work. This lot contains four Tides jerseys. Included are 1998-99 road blue jerseys of Todd Hundley and Benny Agbayani. In the neck of the Aesopian is the "Rawlings" label. Under this are the wash, size "50", and "2 Inch Extra Length" flag tags. On the left front tail is an additional "Rawlings" label. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Norfolk" and below this is the player number "44." The number also appears on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of white on red tackle twill. The Hundley jersey is identical with two exceptions. First is the tagging: in the neck of the Hundley jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size "46." Below this is the wash tag. The second difference is the player number "9." Also included in the lot is a 1999-2000 home white jersey of Jay Payton. In the collar is the "Rawlings" label with the size "46." Beneath this is the wash tag. On the left front tail is an additional "Rawlings" label. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Tides" in light blue/dark blue on white tackle twill. Beneath this is the player number "25" in red tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is the player name "Payton" in blue tackle twill and number "25" in dark blue on light blue tackle twill. The last jersey in the lot is a mid-90s Jason Isringhausen road gray jersey. In the collar is the "Wilson" label with the size "46." Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Norfolk" and below this is the player number "22" which also appears on the back. All of the letters and numbers are done in light blue/dark blue on white tackle twill. The jerseys show game use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. The Payton, Hundley, and Agbayani jerseys each come with documentation from the Norfolk Tides.
