After a wildly successful career with the Big Red Machine of the 1970's, George Foster was traded to the Mets and quickly became a fan favorite. Foster wore this shirt in 1983. In the collar is the "Rawlings" label with the size "44." Adjacent to this is the "Set 1 1983" flag tag and below is a blue label with "15 83 1" in white chain stitch. This denotes player number, year, and set number respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Mets" and below this is the player number "15." On the back of the jersey is a blue name plate with the player name "Foster" and below this is the number "15." All letters and numbers are made of gray on orange tackle twill. There is an autograph on the front of the jersey, rating an 8. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
