Dave Kingman's powerful swing led to tremendous home runs (he retired 20th on the All-Time list) and sweeping strikeouts (he led the NL three times.) He was a smart and fast base-runner who had a lightning-quick swing with a home run uppercut. On the right front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size, "48" and adjacent is the "4 Inch Extra length" label. Above this is a gray patch reading "26 81 1", which has been done in blue chain stitch. The numbers denote the player number, year and set number, respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Mets" in script-style letters and on the back is a gray nameplate with the name "Kingman." The player number "26" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Mets "Skyline" patch and on the upper right front is an autograph which rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
