It's tough to hit 40 plus home runs a year, bat close to .300, win Gold Gloves and go largely unnoticed. Such is life though for sweet-swinging Texas Rangers first baseman Rafael Palmeiro, who is a victim of his own consistently stellar play. Palmeiro, who is poised to join the 500 Home Run Club early next season, is certainly one of the game's most underrated players. This black Spalding first baseman's glove was worn during game action by Palmeiro. It exhibits "Rafael Palmeiro" in yellow stitching to the left of the webbing and above the letter "S", which is stitched in blue over a yellow circle. "Raffy" signed the TFPRO model glove in silver Sharpie and added his number "25". The signature grades a 7. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
