Jim "Rawhide" Tabor may be best known for an encounter that he had off of the field with a young Ted Williams in which he ranted and raved at the outfielder for spending to much time thinking about hitting and not enough time fielding. An excellent hitter himself Tabor once hit four homeruns in one day. In the collar are the "Spalding" and "Tim McAuliffe" labels. Below these is a gray patch reading "J Tabor" in red chain stitch. On the inside rear tail is the "44" size tag. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Boston" and on the back is the player number "5." All of the letters and number are made of blue felt. On the left sleeve is the "Health" patch. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Also included is a pair of pants. In the waist of the pants are the "Spalding" and "Tim McAuliffe" labels. Adjacent to the Spalding label is the "38" size tag. Below this is a gray felt patch reading "L Finney" in red chain stitch. The pants show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
