Ken Griffey Jr.'s precocious talents allowed him and his dad, to become the first father/son duo to play in the major leagues concurrently, the first to start in the same lineup and the first to hit home runs in the same game. Arguably the greatest player of his generation, he all but single-handedly saved baseball in Seattle with his monstrous home runs and breathtaking centerfield defense. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "46" and below this is the "2" Extra Length" label. Under this is the "2" Extra Sleeve Length" label and next to this is the year tag "1999." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Seattle" in blue on teal/white tackle twill and on the back is a gray nameplate with the name "Griffey" in blue on teal tackle twill. Below this is the player number "24" also made of blue on teal tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Seattle Mariners patch and on the back of the shirt is an autograph which rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
