Almost as famous for his handlebar mustache as his pitching, Rollie Fingers, the lanky righthander, is one of the greatest relief artists in baseball, lasting 17 years. Known for his control and durability, Fingers made it a point never to pitch more than two innings at a time in order to maintain his strength. In 1974 he pitched the final two innings of the only four-pitcher no-hitter in baseball history as he, Vida Blue, Glenn Abbott and Paul Lindblad combined to blank the California Angels 5-0. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "McAuliffe" label and below is the year tag "69." Next to this is the size tag "42." On the left breast is "A's." The player number "34" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of green on white tackle twill. The numbers on the front and the number "4" on the back have been team restored. There is an autograph on the upper right front which rates a 7. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the restored numbers, appears to have no other alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
