As the youngest rookie in the NBA, Kevin Garnett set the Timberwolves team record for blocks with 131, as he also led all rookies in the category. In only his second pro season, he became an All-Star. In 2000 he won a spot on the All-NBA First Team and was a Second Team selection in 2001 and 2002. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Starter" exclusive label and adjacent is the size tag, "50." Next to this is the "4"LB" label denoting four extra inches in body length. Below this is a white patch reading "98-99 Set #5." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Timberwolves" in white tackle twill on a black/silver backing. On the back is the name "Garnett" in white on black tackle twill. The player number "21" appears on both the front and back of the shirt in white tackle twill on a black/silver backing. On the upper left front is the "NBA" patch. There are two pieces of the Velcro on both the front and back of the jersey which he used to keep his jersey tucked inside his pants. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with a team letter.
