John Havlicek's accomplishments on the basketball court are legendary. The Hall of Fame forward played 16 seasons in the NBA, helping the Boston Celtics to eight World Championships along the way. "Hondo" was selected to play in 13 All-Star games and retired in 1978 as the Celtics all-time leading scorer with 26,395 points. He was the first player to score 1,000 points in 16 straight seasons. Offered here is a Boston Celtics road warmup jacket stet in the mid 1970s. The button down Sand-Knit label jacket has the Celtics' traditional clover patches on the sleeves and Havlicek's name is fastened in velcro on the reverse. "Celtics" is lettered across the front of the jacket, which shows excellent use. This is a must-have for the hardcore Hondo fan.
