This 3/9/87 check #161 in the Pete Maravich account, is made out to "Cash" in the amount of $1500 for a "Transfer," as designated in the bottom left corner. Maravich signed the check on both the front and back (for endorsement) and his wife Jackie has also signed the back. Each blue ink signature rates a 9. Pete signed in a different shade of blue than what was used on the rest of the check and it appears that most of the other writing is in Jackie's handwriting. The date, "Cash", and "Transfer," seem to be done with Pete's shade of ink. The check has three vertical creases, one of which runs through Pete's signature on the front. The signatures are unaffected by the cancellation stamping. The check would be near mint to mint if not for the creases and a small piece missing from the lower left corner. The check comes to us directly from Jackie Maravich and is accompanied by her letter of authenticity. The check also comes with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
