Hall of Famer Bob McAdoo soon became one of the NBA's premier players after being drafted in the first round of the 1972 draft. McAdoo won the 1973 NBA Rookie of the Year Award in his first season, and earned the first of three consecutive NBA scoring titles in only his second season. His second season remains the last time an NBA player has averaged both 30 points per game and 15 rebounds per game over the course of a season. That year he enjoyed his first (of five) All-Star selections. Presented is McAdoo’s 1974 All-Star Game jersey held at the Seattle Center Coliseum. On the front left tail is the manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Across the chest reads “EAST”. The player number “12” appears below and on the back. These are done in white on red tackle twill. McAdoo had to give up his customary number “11” for this game to Elvin Hayes due to seniority. Across the back is the player name “McADOO” in white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
