After arriving in Pittsburgh on April 4, 1963, Manny Mota quickly established himself as one of the leagues premiere hitters. In six years with the Pirates, Mota appeared in 642 games and hit .297. On the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer's tag size "42". Sans material tag with an outline remaining. Adjacent below is a tag with washing instructions and a flag tag reading "SET 1 1966". Across the front reads "PIRATES" and the player number "15" appears below and on the back. All numbering and lettering is done in black felt on yellow tackle twill. Fraying is present on the trim and underarm. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
