On the front left tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “42”. Attached is an additional Sand-Knit tag reading “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the CHICAGO WHITE SOX”. On the inside rear tail is a strip tag reading “82 DOTSON 42” with an attached flag tag reading “2”. On the left sleeve is the White Sox “ALL-STAR GAME 50th Anniversary” patch. Across the front reads “SOX” in white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “DOTSON” and below is the player number “49”. These are done in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. Dotson signed the front of the jersey in blue ink and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The name on back is original however a nameplate was added on top of it in a subsequent season. This plate has been removed with an outline remaining. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
