Steve Young was named the MVP of the NFL in 1992 and 1994, the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, the first left-handed quarterback to be so honored. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading the size “44”. Adjacent to the left is a box tag reading the year “95” embroidered in red. The player number “8” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves and across the back on a red nameplate is the player name “YOUNG”. All numbering and lettering is done in white tackle twill. On the v-neck is the official “NFL” shield logo and on both sleeves is a “Wilson” logo. Young signed the back of the jersey inside the player number and in our opinion rates a strong 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a 49ers Fan Club LOA and an ALOA from JSA.
