On the left front tail is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “50”. Attached are two flag tags, one reading “100% POLYESTER” and one that is heavily faded. Below is the year “1996” label which is partially faded. Across the front is “Athletics”. The player number “25” appears on both the front and back. The player name “McGWIRE” appears across the back on a white nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in green on yellow tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Elephant on a Ball” patch. On the right sleeve is the Russell “R” logo. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
