Hall of Famer John Smoltz was named the National League Cy Young Award winner in 1996 winning 24 games with a 2.94 ERA. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading the size “48”. Adjacent is a box tag reading the year “96”. Across the chest reads, “Braves” and on the back is the player number “29”. These are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. Below “Braves” is the team’s Tomahawk logo. Across the back reads the player name, “SMOLTZ” in navy blue tackle twill on a white nameplate. Smoltz signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion rates a near 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
