Bob Watson scored the one millionth run in baseball history on May 4, 1975. Watson was on second base and scored the run on Milt May's three-run home run. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the HOUSTON ASTROS NATIONAL LEAGUE”. Below is a “Sand-Knit” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions that is partially detached. Across the front reads, “Astros” painted in blue. Below on the left side is their star logo painted in blue with a red border. The player number “27” appears on the back painted in blue. Above reads the player name, “WATSON” in blue tackle twill on a white nameplate. On the left sleeve is a number “40” memorial disc patch for Don Wilson, a member of the team who passed away which has been replaced with an original patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
