After retiring from basketball in 1994, Michael Jordan spent the next year pursuing a childhood dream to play professional baseball. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox of the American League and reported to Spring Training. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Attached is a flag reading “100% POLYESTER” and a strip tag reading “45-46-94”. On the left chest is the “SOX” team logo. On the right chest and on the back is the player number “45” and across the back is the player name “JORDAN”. All numbering and lettering is done in white on black on grey tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the MLB “125th ANNIVERSARY” patch and on the left sleeve is a White Sox team logo patch. Sourced from White Sox clubhouse personnel, this jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used in Spring Training and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
