Kobe Bryant captured his fourth NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009, defeating the Orlando Magic in five games. Bryant won his first of two Finals MVP awards in the series averaging 32.4 points, 7.4 assists and 5.6 rebounds in a staggering 43.8 minutes per game. The first ballot Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee earned nearly every accolade the NBA has to offer. On the front left tail is the Adidas manufacturer’s tag with four attached flag tags reading the size “54”, “CLIMALITE”, the year “2008-2009” and “LENGTH +4”. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the upper right chest is the Larry O’Brien trophy patch which was prepared for the finals. Across the chest reads “LAKERS” and on the back is the player name “BRYANT”. The player number “24” appears on the front and back. All numbering and lettering is done in purple on gold tackle twill. Bryant signed the front of the jersey in gold marker with the added inscription “MVP” and in our opinion rates an 8. Adjacent to the signature is an Upper Deck hologram serial number “SHO52889”. Also included is a pair of shorts size “46” “LENGTH +2” with the player number “24” handwritten on the manufacturer’s tag in black marker. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Full JSA LOA, an Upper Deck COA and D.C. Sports LOA.
