Magic Johnson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturers size “44” tag with wash instructions. Affixed to this tag is an Upper Deck hologram with a serial number that is heavily faded. Adjacent is the Champion “1992-93 Designed and Tailored Exclusively For LOS ANGELES LAKERS BODY LENGTH +3” tag. On the left inseam is a flag tag reading “100% NYLON”. Across the front is "LAKERS" in purple on white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "32" in purple on white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "JOHNSON" in purple on white tackle twill. On the upper left chest is the embroidered official “NBA” logo. Johnson signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as game-issued for the 92-93 season although Johnson did not play due to HIV illness. Accompanied by an Upper Deck COA.
